Read the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum list. Once you know how to use it correctly, use the "search" function for "pokerstars" or "PS". There are probably a bazillion threads on PS.

You got it, in short - a lot of people play it here and it is well respected. I don't really care for their interface, but that's my own opinion.

Check out the Beginners forum for answers to all the stuff that you want to know about starting off .. there you won't get (m)any gruff answers [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Sorry, couldn't resist.
Yes...there are a zillion threads on Stars.
It's a fine place to start your online pokering because they have games down to .02/.04.

The tournaments are really good.

At small-stakes (not micro-stakes) like 1/2, 2/4 and 3/6, the games are considered to be a bit tougher (i.e. - the players a bit tougher) than other sites like Party.

But for starting off in the penny and nickel games it's a good place to go.

I dig the tournaments there lots and lots and lots.

best tournaments on the net. toughest 1/2 games on the net. 'nuff said.
