A few small pot, multiway pickups - Party 5/10 6m

I've been trying to find situations where I should be picking up pots where no one else seems to have any interest. I figured on both of these, w/the lack of action it seemed no one had anything, and no one is going to call a river bet w/K high or worse...are these both standard? What if the river is something like a 8 or Q in either hand? Fire a bet sometime earlier in the hand in either of these? Or is the pot too small to even bother?

I would bet the flop in the first hand. Cause of the gutshot draw. In the second hand I wouldn't bother.
