Default TT PF decision

not much of a read on UTG+1, has decent TAG-like stats
MP1 is overaggressive and not that good

Against a LAG 3-bettor, cap it. Unless the TAG has a big hand or hits the flop hard, your cap will make it much more likely his overcards (if that's what he has) don't see the river, which is a big plus for you. Postflop, try to isolate the LAG, and plan on going to showdown unless the board and action get really bad or the TAG shows interest.

My gut feeling is telling me to call and see if UTG+1 caps or not. We have position to take control on a favorable flop and our hands may beat both villains' holdings. By calling we can better determine whether UTG+1 is stronger than ours. Most likely TT is better than what MP1 is holding.

I usually call here. TT is a great starting hand, but can be killed by alot of flops. Call and see what MP1 does.

TAgg might even fold a hand like AJ/KQ here pre-flop if he's really studly.

How over-aggro is MP1? If he's a tight 3-better than this might even be a reasonable fold. I would also consider just how aggro TAgg is pre-flop. Something like a 7% or lower PFR might also bias me towards a fold.

MP1 being overaggressive might lean me towards a call, but readless am I the only one folding both TT and JJ to a 3-bet cold when it's only 3-way? JJ is a closer decision, but TT has an assload of overcards that can hit the flop, and I'm not sure if any can be considered safe with action like that.

Default results/rest of hand

I ended up cold-calling; this is only the second or third time I remember cold-calling 3 PF, I know one of the other times was also TT. I cold-called, as some have said, to see if UTG+1 capped. If he didn't cap, I could raise MP1's probable flop bet to fold UTG+1's overcards, and if he did cap, I can narrow down his range a bit and also see what he and MP1 do on the flop before I have to act. However, I can see a good argument for capping PF in that you might get UTG+1 to fold some overs PF or make an incorrect fold on the flop. UTG+1 capped, but it didn't make a difference since I flopped a T. Anyone have a problem w/the way the rest of the hand was played?

No way. MP1 is a fish. He's going to do fish-like things. Its raise to get rid of the TAG. He does TAG-like things.

I'm shocked, doak, shocked.
