Is 15/30 a 15 game or a 30 game?

When someone says, "I saw you playing in the 20 game," are they talking about a 10/20 or a 20/40, or is it contextual?

Everytime I've heard a limit game referred to by a single number, it was always the big bet.

Of course, "everytime" in this case is precisely "twice".

From my understanding, and from what my friends (who play bigger) say... they always refer to the Small Bet.

A 15 game is 15/30, a 20 game is 20/40. But I never hear them calling my game the 6. I guess it's not cool if you're a small-stakes slug.

What is the lower limit for using this method of game description? From what I have seen it's 15. But I don't play that big so I don't know anyway.
