counterfeited 22 vs LAG, is a river bet worth it?
Villain here is a LAG, something like 67/33/1. I was planning on c/r'ing the flop. Is a river bluff worth it here vs a LAG? On the one hand, his range includes some hands w/out a A or K, but on the other hand, he might not need A or K high to call here.
Prima 5/10 (6 max) Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, MP raises, Button folds, SB folds, Hero calls. Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, MP checks. Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets, MP calls. River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero ? |

Fold or 3-bet PF, it will make the rest of the hand a lot easier.

i agree, raise or fold pf.
I wouldt bother betting this river, he will call with just about anything here and there isnt much you beat. |

Re: counterfeited 22 vs LAG, is a river bet worth it?
I disagree that this is 3-bet or fold here. First off, I think calling here is easily better than folding against this Villain, who is obviously opening many hands. Also, I'm not sure 3-betting PF has any merit; I am at best a coinflip against his hand, and I'm not sure having the PF initiative will help me better take control of this pot/induce incorrect folds from a LAG. Any other thoughts?
