What are the rules for showing cards?
Ok here we go. Some sites flip cards immediatly over when 2 players heads up all in. Some don't and the losing hand is mucked. That sucks coz I wanna know wot he had.
Then, when i play limit, and 3 peeps go to showdown, one of them shows cards one of them mucks and the other shows too. So what is the order of showing cards? There has to be first player flipping over cards even the losing one. I am not gonna flip over my str8, I wanna see his cards as well. So, again, whats the order of showdown? Ty yes i searched the forum. |

Re: What are the rules for showing cards?
The last bettor or raiser has to show both cards first, then it goes in order around the table. If it was checked around, than the first person that checked has to show first.
Once the bettor (or first checker) shows his cards everyone else has the option of mucking them if they want. It's kind of like you called (paid) to see his cards so he has to show them. (unless he wants to just muck them in which case he definately loses the hand) This happens all the time in casinos, the person who was called, doesnt want to show so he needlessly stalls until someone else show's theres. As far as the all-in, the rules I think say that both players have to show their hand if they are all-in, but I know certain online sites just simply dont do it that way. If it's Party you are talking about you can always click on the hand history. |

Basically you can say, the one who forces people to put money in the put shows first. So if there is bet then raise then reraise then everyone calls, the reraiser should show his cards first right? |
