I said is he as bad (literly) as he says he is. He always critizies himself. Saying how he would call there b ut yet again he has no money. ANd makes fun of his play. So im wondering if he plays as poorly as he says he does and what stakes he plays at....

He's not a pro at all. He's been a newspaper columnist in the Washington, DC area for the last 10 years.

He used to make football picks (which were always wrong) for the Washington Post; now he writes a column called "Couch Slouch."

He may have played a $30+3 internet SnG or two...

He played in a few of the WSOP events this year if I'm not mistaken.

he probly plays, but i seriously doubt he's pro. its just this image he's built up for tv. just like he makes it sound like he has 20 ex-wives.

He plays Stud 8 more than any other game for sure. Those are the only tournies he plays in the WSOP. Apparently he plays reasonably high cash games for Stud 8 too, I think he said like 80/160, but don't hold me to that. He did an interview for Rich Belsky and CardPlayer a while back. Go find it! I used to write for Sports Illustrated. I don't know if he does anymore. I think he's funny.
