Yes, that's right. 15 buy-ins. CO is 51/4/2. He's up a lot thanks to Button. CO has been involved in numerous hands w/ the maniac(Button) and has called the maniac's river super overbet w/ as little as ace high. (Called 3 times the pot size bet w/ ace high and won. $400ish) Button was a super maniac that was chasing any gutshot, flush, any draw. CO made some questionable play as well, as he was drawing to his gutshot straight for potsize flop and turn bets against me in a previous hand. The maniac went all-in preflop w/ A3o, 87s, etc... numerous times. He pretty much raised it to 15 - 40 preflop every hand but on this hand, he decided to limp for a change. He was the worst player I had ever seen on party or anywhere. Due to the presence of him, our table is very loose, as people are playing K10o, Q8o, etc... for 25+ preflop pretty often. Anyway, I have about 700 left at the river. What should I do? Should I have played my hand differently on earlier streets? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, |

Re: Deep Party 400NL
I don't like the flop at all. Unless you checkraise a lot in these situations you just give up a lot of info with a ton of money behind. I'd also raise PF.

Re: Deep Party 400NL
I usually raise this preflop but Button was raising it up to 15-40 pretty much every hand so I didn't. I don't know why he didn't raise in this particular hand. Possibly a misclick.
I check-raised huge on the flop b/c there were overbets everywhere at our table since the maniac calling station was going crazy. I basically put the Button on a flush draw or a sole King and wanted him to pay. This guy was calling massive overbet all-ins every single time he hit top pair any kicker or had a draw. I didn't think CO would call my huge check-raise on the flop and Button would fold. My plan went wrong. |

Re: Deep Party 400NL
Push... even if you don't get the call, you're going to tilt the button even more. I push and uncheck the "muck" button, when asked to show my cards, I just let it time out... people hate that.
So yeah, push... also I hope this isn't a bad beat thread and you ran into 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], -Ace |
