No Limit in AC ??
Do any of the Atlantic City casinos offer No Limit ?? Most of the sites just seem to list limit games, with some no limit multitable tournaments. Was thinking of trying the Taj or Bogota.
thanks.... |

Re: No Limit in AC ??
Both offer NL, I haven't played it, but I'm told its fairly soft. Both offer 1/2 and 2/5. Not sure what the buyins are, I believe $300 at the 1/2

Re: No Limit in AC ??
I know the Borg 1/2 is $300, pretty sure the 2/5 is $500 but I'm not as sure about that.

Re: No Limit in AC ??
it may well be 100; i never saw anyone buy in for less than the max in my few sessions there. and a 100bb max is short enough that no 2+2er should be worrying about the min, anyway. if 500 is too much for you to put on the table, play 1/2.

Trop also has 1/2 and 2/5
not sure what the buyins are though. I think the 1/2 is min 60 max 300 and the 2/5 is min ?? max 500. Don't quote me though.

Re: Trop also has 1/2 and 2/5
I didn't realize the Taj/Borg had 2/5 NL. I know that 1/2 NL games vary a ton, but in general, is the 2/5 generally tighter than the 1/2? More trapping?
I'm assuming the best players would play the pot limit if there is no max buy in, is that true? Or are there some real sharks in the 2/5? |

Re: Trop also has 1/2 and 2/5
the borg 2/5 is marginally tougher than the 1/2, but still very much beatable. the pl game, from what i hear, has some tough regulars, but is occasionally very good.
