The maths I did are just for the flush. He could have a made hd, a str8 draw. With AdJd he has 10 clean outs against a set (3.6 to 1), he may assume he has more with one overcard plus the two diamonds that pair the board.
But there you are assuming he has the best possible draw, we are not even sure he is drawing.
