A Weird One
BB is extremely loose-passive - I don't think I've ever seen him fold a blind PF or a pair postflop
UTG is also pretty LP, but not to the same extent as BB Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is MP with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: (8.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB calls, UTG calls. Turn: (6.20 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, Button folds, BB calls, UTG calls. River: (9.20 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, UTG bets, Hero... I was going for an iso raise PF, but I should have realized that with a table containing 1 other TAG, and 4 players with VPIP's between 45 and 80, that really wasn't going to work. I think limping would have been OK here. What's your river plan and why? |

Re: A Weird One
Raise, looks like a flush. Dont you think he would have raised the turn if he had an 8? Raise and call a 3 bet.

It's probably a made flush or straight. I would expect your raise to be called by one of the other players as well. |

Re: A Weird One
yes. i agree with calling a 3-bet. he could 3-bet a 5 especially.
i just had a guy check call me with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on a Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] flop and turn. he check raised the river on the Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. brilliant. |

I think a 3-bet scares the crap out of LP's for some reason though (I've seen them call with the nuts before). He could definetly be fearing a higher flush or a boat. However, it is a pretty big pot, and I have seen weirder things happen, so yea, a call is probably right if he does 3-bet. |

Re: A Weird One
limp pf, raise the river. Villain could have a bajillion things besides an 8 (which is more likely than either 55 or the 97/74 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]).
