Default AKs preflop

Blinds 50/100 Party fake rebuy
Top 50 get paid, 150 left
1st place 25%
2nd 15%

UTG T6477
HJ T2804
CO T570
me (SB) T1925

UTG makes it T350 (loose side, lipe UTG with ATo early etc) too many hands, but not much else to go on.

HJ calls (no read)

CO pushes his short stack. Open limping with trash earlier. seems fishy.

I am in SB and have AKs.

fold or push?

pussssssssssssssssssssssssssh

i havn't actually pokerstoved it, cause i'm lazy. but i can't imagine that even countning a couple aces dead you're behind shorties range enough. And you'll most likely get iso'd vs him.

I'd push here but I don't expect UTG to fold getting better than 2 to 1.

Why in the world would you fold? Push, call, or minraise. Probably in that order.

IMHO, calling or minraising are not options.

Well, it's clearly Push >>> Call > Minraise, just you can do either the call or minraise and just push the rest of the chips in on the flop. It's silly, but you can do it.

There are times to fold AKs I'm sure, but not against a loose and then a fishy opponent. Esp. with the given stack sizes. You're killing UTG's loose range.

On another note, did you get that Beckett shot from Sons of Sam Horn or?

Edit: If HJ is reasonable, his calling range is probably a bit looser due to UTG's looseness, and will probably fold to the push, push action behind him.
