I used to bet, bet bet too... I like this line better now. Why? The overbet looks quite suspicous to these players. I get about one of these a night, sometimes two. It works and it gets the money in.

YES!
The overbet is your friend. If a scare card comes (that helps you) *overbet* the pot vs a donk, it's less scary to him than a value bet. Overbet looks like you're panicking. I've been trying this lately, it works quite well. |

Obviously depends on the type of LAG/maniac you're up against. I didn't manage to do it profitably, maybe I just wasn't good enough at picking the right spots? I do make occasional overbets with the nuts or when I'm 90% sure MHIG to mix it up, but not much more than that. Am I missing out on something here? |
