Default Greektown\'s 100+25 Tournies (Is this 25% juice beatable?)

Has anyone played in these? Apparently the tourney has different field sizes day to day depending on how many sign up.

Starting chips: 3000

Blinds start at 10-20 and increase every 30 minutes.

10-20, 20-40, 50-100, 100-200 and from there I think they might just keep doubling.

Prize distribution is as follows: 1-3 tables

1st - 60%
2nd - 30%
3rd - 10%

4-6 tables:

1st - 50%
2nd - 25%
3rd - 10%
4th - 8%
5th - 7%

7 or more tables:

1st - 45%
2nd - 18%
3rd - 10%
4th - 7%
5th - 6%
6th - 5%
7th - 4%
8th - 3%
9th - 2%

People still play low limit live tourneys? That sounds horrible. Why not just go online and within a half hour start up several $10,000 tourneys that don't have a 25% vig

I havent played in one yet, but I would say it is surely beatable. I'm not sure how they do the blinds at the end. If they double them like you say, it may make things harry carry, Greektown management are such clods when it comes to how to STRUCTURE their poker games.
$25 aint that bad. They should up the buy-in to $200. I'm sure with no rebuys they would still get enough players. But it just goes to show you how player/structure conscious they are- zilch
