At this limit, I don't think there is ever a reason to slow play. You are always going to get callers!

if you don't bet when you pair your door card it looks really awkward unless you came in from the bring-in. I think slow playing gives away your hand more than betting in this situation, they'll put you on at least trips probably. I might try for a check raise somewhere after betting 4th, other than that bet/raising

Here's what I probably do:

3rd call
4th bet
5th check with the intention of raising or just bet again
6th bet/raise
7th bet/raise

edit:raise third if people won't fold

It's hard to say. I would prefer betting out on 4th if there were more hands that looked like solid draws. But A-4, 9-2, J-2 offsuit and 3-Q suited for the bringin... I think you might be better off checking. You're just not going to get a lot of action on this hand unless someone improves.

As it is, though, you managed to get one extra bet heads up--sometimes that's as good as you can do. Checking 4th might have let someone catch up, but it also might have kept you from even tying the one opponent to the pot.

NH. Wish you could have gotten more action. I had my first ever 5-card royal flush this morning, and I think I managed a 16 BB pot.

good post bt. I think your thoughts on the boards of the others is a very important point... that's what made me think I should have slow-played

I think enough people at this level will call 4th if they have 66 beat, I guess play on this street could go either way depending on how loose they are after 3rd.
I think checking in this spot is good if you know you'll only get 1 caller, but how often does that happen at .50/1, its been a good while since I've played it but paired door or not your usually getting to the showdown with 3 people in the pot.

check fourth, as it's only a pair of 6's, I don't think it looks that conspicuous. Give 'em a chance to catch something.

4th:You have to bet imo.If you don't,it will look suspicious since nobody caught anything strong for you to check to.My rule for slowplaying is:If it's half-way reasonable to not slowplay,go ahead & bet.Whenever I slowplay,I'm almost always sorry that I did it.
