updated to xp home edition. need help

I just updated from windows 98 to XP home edition.Started with clean hard drive. I can not seem to download Party Poker or UB .Party starts to download but a window pops up with something about not being Win 32. I am not real good with a computer so I would appreciate any help so I can continue to lose my money to you guys. I have Service Pack 2 also. Thank You.

I would strongly recommend backing up data and doing a fresh install from the windows XP home cd. In the past 5 edititions or so, I've rarely seen an upgraded system without any related problems.
