Default AK killed my father... and raped my mother!

I was deep in two cheapo MTTs on stars today and AK was the death of me on both.

In this first one, I made what was possibly my first laydown of AKs preflop.

I was later told that the reraiser had QQ. Why would I fold? WHYWHYWHYYYY?

So literally 5 hands later, almost the exact same situation arises.

Now, on to the tourney where I was actually doing REALLY well. I have a history of cashing in big MTTs but never making the final table. I feel it's a curse at this point and I was praying I would overcome it in this tournament as I was the dominant chip leader for quite some time. Little did I know... AK wasn't finished toying with me yet.
