Re: Should I bet the River?
Good post. I often have a problem w this myself.
Harrington says that if you would call a bet if u checked you should bet out. But in this scenario, you have a weak kicker and a draw out there. I would check and call to a reasonable sized bet(half of pot). If he goes all in I would fold. |

Re: Should I bet the River?
check/call. If he pushes, get out.
If he missed a flush draw, he wouldn't call. If he has pocket fives...god bless him...you'll take him money later. If he has a bigger king, why didn't he raise on the flop? Those spades would be just as scary to him. If he has 87s...he's a moron. |

Re: Should I bet the River?
I should have mentioned that this was a $22. Sorry.
I checked the River, he checked behind me. He showed down pocket 8's |

Re: Should I bet the River?
I think you played it pretty well. The bet on the turn is very read dependant, but if your putting him on a draw then the bet was nice. checking the river was a good idea because your hand is very weak and wont be called by losing hands(most of the time anyways.)
