Default JJ too Aggressive

Pacific 8 handed Hero is UTG Jd,Jh SB is insane. Raises on virtually every street and has nothing. Twice played the board after capping river.

Hero raises, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO folds Dealer calls, SB raises ( no surprise here) , BB folds, Hero caps, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Dealer calls, SB calls.

21SB 5 handed

SB bets, Hero raises (trying to isolate myself with small blind) MP2 folds, MP3 calls, SB raises, Hero calls, MP3 calls. (MP3 has shown no aggression, no read on him)

15BB 3 handed

Turn is Kc
SB bets, Hero calls, MP3 raises (I'm figuring him for 2 pair hopefully smaller than mine) , SB raises, Hero calls, MP3 raises, SB calls, Hero calls (at this point the pot was too big for me to walk away)

Should I have folded on either the flop or the turn?

I let my read on the SB and the size of the pot influence me the most. If the pot were small I probably would have folded. Is my reasoning faulty?

One of my leaks seems to be chasing pots with weaker holdings.

All constructive criticism is appreciated.

My warning bells go off as soon as MP3 cold-calls 2 on the flop. I'd call SB's one bet on the turn and dump to MP3's raise.

Why are you calling the re-raise on the turn? MP3 is saying he has a K. Don't believe him? You're spewing chips here w/ 2nd pair. Pockets are nice and all, but you should have been done with it on the turn.

yeah, you're in a terrible spot: between two heavy raisers. fortunate for the river, but don't fall to result oriented thinking.

i'm not cold-calling with JJ.

Thanks all for the replies. It now seems so obvious I'm embarrased.
