Re: so my roof opened up and weeped
go buy one of those kiddy pools. place it in the kitchen. Or create some sort of system that has the bucket draining to outside.

Re: so my roof opened up and weeped
its actually not so bad now that its stopped raining, but i fear the wood in the ceiling is all rotten and could perhaps just fall apart.
hope they put some sort of support beam up or something like that... |

Re: so my roof opened up and weeped
Be thankful it's just a leak. After the deluge this week, My roof leaked through, into the crawlspace, through the tin ceiling, through the plaster ceiling under it, and down to the drop ceiling below that. It wasn't noticed until soaking wet tiles came crumbling down all over the room. Thankdfully it was in a spare bedroom used for storage.
