Re: Marginal overpair: call down or no?
Could this be SB playing AA this way. AKs seems unlikely since leading the turn into 3 players doesnt seem likely with A high. Although I could see someone calling your flop raise with AA on a ragged board like that waiting to punish you on the turn and river for the full BB's.

Re: Marginal overpair: call down or no?
You have to raise here. There 16.5 BB in the pot and two more players to act that probably have 4 outs each to beat you. Make them fold or call incorrectly by raising.
SB's turn bet is a little weird, but I think he'd be a little more aggressive on the flop with a higher overpair. I'd consider taking a free showdown on the river if he checks to you though. |

Re: Marginal overpair: call down or no?
Thanks for the replies. I called the turn, the others folded. SB bet out again on the river, I call, and he shows Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] .
