Monitor question - 19\" okay?
I'm in Canada, so buying 2001FP's is rather expensive to say the least. Very hard to get a deal up here. My question is, would a 19" monitor that does 1600x1200 have any problems? Or would it be the same as a 21".....just smaller? Reason I'm asking is because my laptop does 1600x1200...but all that means is I have to scroll down the screen to see the rest.
Here's one example. |

1600 x 1200 @ 68Hz You might want to find one with at least 75Hz, a lot of people complain about eye strain for anything lower. |

Re: Monitor question - 19\" okay?
I would not buy that one. Viewsonic is often blurry and not so high quality.
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...acture=Samsung Would be a better choice. You can find specs and picture here http://www.epinions.com/Samsung_19IN...ay_~full_specs It's native resolution is 1600*1200 @ 75hz witch good for the price. I never owned a samsung that I would consider bad or even average, I think that one is good as well. If you can consider ordering from other places there are alot of other monitors to consider. |

Re: Monitor question - 19\" okay?
Thanks for the replies guys. To answer your question...yeah I can order from other places, but I'd prefer to stick in Canada. Only options are Canada Computers(Canadacomputers.com), NCIX, Future Shop and Staples from what I see.
