Default Obligatory 18,692 hand Stat Post. Leaks?

Game Level - $.5/1
Total Hands - 18,692
VP$IP - 16.62%
PFR - 7.29%
WtSD - 27.66%
W$SD - 56.19%
BB/100 - 3.04

Aggression Numbers
Flop – 2.96
Turn – 2.64
River – 1.99

The following things are glaringly shitty:

1. Too tight PF. I seldom play the suited one-gappers. That should account for a few % points... Where else might I be missing opportunities? Should I be playing some off-suit connectors? I avoid them like the plague. What about, say, A9o/A8o in LP with a couple of limpers? I can’t figure out how I’m missing another 4-5%

2. PFR is low. Virtually never raise hands like 88 if anyone has limped in front of me. Anything below ATs gets limped. And I seldom raise hands like K9s unless the table is 6-handed or so. You guys raise hands like this normally if unraised? Broadways get raised invariably if the pot is unraised. KJo in MP, KQo UTG etc.

3. WtSD% is notably low. I find myself check-folding overcards on the flop maybe a bit more than I should (with a larger field) and I fold 77-TT to any aggression often when the flop holds overcards. Outside of that, I can't really explain this number. I don’t make a point of not calling down.

4. My river aggression factor is a bit pathetic. Must be missing millions of value bets...

Ideas? Suggestions? Comments?

You've identified your problems. I think looking at your position stats will help you make some improvements also.

Open up your starting requirements in the CO and on the button in unraised pots.

Your W$SD is high, probably folding winners.

BB/100 = I hate you

Value bet the river

Don't open limp in MP2 or later so often.

But hey, you are kicking my ass

I used to have the same problem as you before I moved to 1/2, I didn't raise enough preflop and didn't play enough hands. Don't bother playing any offsuit connectors or acerags, playing AXs,suited connectors, and all pocket pairs should bring your vpip up to at least 18%.

Your won money at showdown being high, combined with your WTSD being low, suggests that you are folding too much, as the ever-brilliant NateDog has noticed.

Dig up the Ed Miller post about folding too much (titled something like "I know why you aren't pwning these bitch-ass micro games" or something like that).

I play Axs, the suited connectors and all the PP's. All I can think that I'm missing are the one-gappers. But surely thats not another 3-5%....

Limping PP's UTG? CC'ing PP's with 3+ limpers already in?

My name = Nate, and my nickname = Dawg (or Dog, or Dogg) among a certain crowd. Therefore, anyone who shares these traits is, by definition, brilliant.

Simple inductive logic, my friend.

Rather genius I do say. Did you notice that we are all devastatingly handsome as well? Women want us, men want to be us, and wild animals kneel before us.

Sorry, thread hi-jack. Back to your regularly scheduled stat post.
