If the answer is Yes, when do you do it and why? |

Re: Do you ever..
I never do this. You get better odds on a bluff, but there is really no reason to do it with a made hand when the pfr will always bet the flop so I've built my game around that assumption. Perhaps against a player who would raise your donkbets too much so that you could bet-3bet a lot this strategy would work well.

Re: Do you ever..
I only do it when against a very aggressive player when I want to bet/3bet the flop. Against such players, balancing your play by donking weaker hands is not necessary.

Re: Do you ever..
I do this semi-frequently. Typically if I flop a set or two pair and I know the PFR will raise me on the flop I will donk. I will then c/r the turn. It is all very opponent specific, however. There are a lot of idiots at 10/20 & 15/30 who will get sucked in on this play time and again allowing me to get a raise both on the flop and the turn.

Re: Do you ever..
only against a player who has shown extreme aggression in the face of donkbets (as I am occaisionally guilty of). then i will bet/call the flop, bet/3bet the turn with my strong hands.
