Default Whats the deal with Parties hand histories??

Party Pokers hand histories are a lot different than what I am used to, and are only showing the high card of hands that called me down?
Is this the new and the way it is supposed to be?
I don't like them.

They are messed up for me right now. They all have a bunch of extra stuff like

OldGirl folds # [Fold,Call(2),Raise(4)]
okbkfd checks # [Fold,Check,Raise(2)]

in them-- also only showing the hand they made, not the hand they had. Is that what you're getting?

Didn't used to be like that. Live support, of course, said to email tech and I haven't heard back... it's been several hours.

It turns out that they've added that stuff as a "feature". It shows all the options available to each player on that turn.

It's supposed "to enable the players to have a clearer picture of what exactly happened in the hand, what options were available to each of the players, and what they finally chose."

Ummm. OK. Seems like unnecessary clutter to me, but... as long as the games are good.

Have you also noticed that the hand histories don't show any information when a player bets or raises? Currently it's just showing when a player checks or folds. I had not even noticed how it doesn't show both hole cards when a player goes to showdown. I don't see how this is more helpful?!?

BTW, for those users of Poker Tracker, if Party/Empire keeps this format I will be creating a patch but they have to get their hand histories fixed first.

They've gone back to the original (and better) format, at least for now.

Appears there are still some issues. I have made 4 requests today and not received anything from them. I know it is not my e-mail since I am receiving others.

Yeah, I can't get any either. Live support says there is no problem.

It is a problem to me when I can't win a pot OR get a hand history. Think I'll do something else for a while.

Just a semi-late update but the hand histories are working again. It took over 24 hours but the 4 requests I made all got processed. Everything seems to be back to normal....for now

"to enable the players to have a clearer picture of what exactly happened in the hand, what options were available to each of the players, and what they finally chose."

It seems to me that anyone who might possibly be helped by this, probably wouldn't bother to order hand histories. For me they are worthless clutter that "break" my PokerTracker.

More important is the lack of being able to determine the hole cards of a player that went to the showdown. Collusion is one of the biggest fears/problems with online poker, why would they want to make it more difficult for players to detect?
