Default Looking for Low Limit Vegas Casino Advice

Heading out to spend next week in Vegas (my first trip). Looking for advice on places to play for lower limit games. Highest limit I see myself playing would be 6/12 but looking to mostly play 3/6-4/8 and some 1/2 NL. I am looking to see a few different casinos and any recommendations are appreciated.

Mirage has 6/12, but a lot of people think that game is one of the toughest limit games in town. So unless you're a shark, you might want to find something else.

Monte Carlo, IP, Bellagio and MGM Grand all have 4/8 limit. IP is a little crazier than Monte Carlo. Can't wait to play 4/8 at MGM next trip. I haven't been to that room yet, but it's highly recommended. Waitresses at IP are hot. Monte Carlo's 4/8 game was friendly, with a lot of good players. Bellagio is great, but sometimes I think there are too many Moneymaker wannabees there.

I'll throw in mandalay bay, they have a nice room with also hot waitresses.

They play a 4/8 game with a half kill, which means once in a while you're playing 6/12. very soft

Lol, I probably should have mentioned that as well. Definately looking for a soft game. I will get more satisfaction being able to chit chat with some people and leave with some money. Not looking for the challange of walking into a shark tank and just barely keeping afloat.

I just got back and found the Aladdin to have what you desire. The games were pretty soft and they have the games you want. They also have some tournaments, but I can't really speak to those. Also, the cocktail service was the tops.

Regards,

T

At $4/8 you should definitely try the Bellagio. It's one of the toughest $4/8 games in Vegas, but the atmosphere is one of serious poker, and the Bellagio is a cool hotel to visit. As for $1/2 NL -- A few of my favorite games are spread at MGM, Aladdin, and Excalibur. The MGM room is awesome by the way -- and they are spreading a ton of games.

I played in the 6-12 game at the Mirage last Sat night with 2 friends ( 1 of which was Lee Jones - talk about playing under the microscope). The game was filled with fun, passive tourists. I highly suggest this game at night.

The 4-8 Bellagio is also a terrifc game.

I stayed at the Orleans. The games were equally juicy there too - but deffinately more locals and less tourists. I only played limit and pot limit Omaha there but from what I saw in the lower limit games lots of limping and calling.

Have a great time!!!

My faves are Aladdin, nice room, soft games, love the 3/6 full kill; IP, hot wait staff, very soft games, always full of characters; and Monte Carlo, nice room, laid back atmosphere, good staff. Hope this helps. Check out allvegaspoker.com for everything you want to know and tons of reviews.
