Default K\'s overplayed?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) converter

Hero ($56.05)
MP1 ($47)
MP2 ($45)
MP3 ($13.22)
CO ($67.4)
Button ($56.95)
SB ($45)
BB ($49)
UTG ($49)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.5.
UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $4, 5 folds, SB (poster) raises to $6.5, 1 fold, UTG folds, Hero raises to $30, SB calls $23.

Flop: ($62) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: ($62) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: $62

Results in white below:
Hero has Kd Kh (two pair, kings and tens).
SB has Th Ts (four of a kind, tens).
Outcome: SB wins $62.

The way I look at my preflop reraise is if he reraises I am up agst Aces or Kings... more likely Aces than not. Since he hesitates for about 10 seconds than calls and has a high VP$IP percentage I put him on anything AKs,JJ,QQ as the most likely hand. I honestly did not even THIINK TT which naturally it was lol ..

How do you guys play this differently pre and post flop ? I'm not sure if I made a huge mistake here or this is just one of those hands you are bound to get trapped into. The only way around that is if I cold called his re raise and let him come at me. With flopped quads and the way I played the hand preflop he most likely would not have come out firing that hard as most players like him don't play that type of hand agressively.. probably a check down to river mini-bet. Thoughts?

I just feel a pre-flop smooth call would of been playing way to weak, even though I could of came out harder on the flop if it didn't have a scary board. I tend to mix it up and combine both throughout the day especially if I am playing the same opponents. Just happened to be time to play it agressively (or so I thought, lol)

You do realize your post doesn't contain any post-flop action right? Really doesn't matter, I don't see how you could avoid losing your stack here. Given his preflop action it would be a real stretch to put him on any hand containing a 10 other than TT, and given there are 2 tens on the flop it would make the likelihood of him holding TT pretty small. Be happy you found someone willing to play small pairs for their entire stack. JMO

This actually gives me more insight into your play. How can you fold this? You already know he is capable of reraising you with something like TT. This is about as weak-tight as I've seen on this forum. JMO

PoBoy, no I didn't even realize that.. Flop he checked to me and I pushed.. I believe I had 15 left exactly.

I put a note on the player about his PF Play. Just wasn't sure if my PF play was questionable or not. Regardless of the fact he is willing to put his stack on the line with TT - My main read was his hi VP$IP percentage and VERY low showdown win rate other than that I didn't have much as I was 4 tabling.

My read was correct to a T man, no offense but you just get a feel for players EVEN when 4 tabling them after a few rounds and stats... This was AFTEr he re raised my my Original Bet with TT and a high VP$IP and low PFR% - Think for ONE second. The guy that comes over the top a single min bet with TT - What does he have when he makes 6 ... into 15 to go, etc.. Jesus, it is common sense, and I was NOT Wrong. If he flipped up and showed even as little as TT I wouldof been shocked, however he showed QQ. I had what, 6 outs? calling an additional huge bet PF not to mention what happens of a flop comes of AXJ and turn happens to be a Queen - This is poker man, you play what you know.

You do know that if he flops his QQ over and lays them on the table, you should push, right?

Lol, is this a joke? The "I had what, 6 outs?" part was particularly priceless.
