Default Micro Stud Hi: 3rd St. question?

7 Card Stud High ($0.04/$0.08), Ante $0.01, Bring-In $0.02 (hand converter)
For noobish questions like these, I wish there was a micro or SS Stud forum. I'm still trying to figure out which hands I can play, such as this one.

3rd Street - (2.00 SB)

Seat 1: xx xx 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]___brings-in
Seat 2: xx xx 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]___folds
Seat 3: xx xx 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]___folds
Seat 4: xx xx T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]___calls
Seat 5: xx xx 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]___calls
Seat 6: xx xx K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]___raises
Hero: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]___
Seat 8: xx xx 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] showing

Is this an example of where I want to reraise to get it HU against Kings? However, it's micro, so it'll may still be at least 3-way. Do I fold or call instead? Why? Thanks!

Fold all day everyday. The hand may be worth it if you have an A kicker with your pair - does that make sense?

you dont want this hand heads up or multi way, if the guy has kings you are way behind. Underpair with a kicker lower than his door card is a bad spot to be in, give it up

Yeah, even if you draw back, it's not hard for him to draw back on you. And that's a longshot.

Yeah, if you have an ace kicker, this can be okay. But headsup. I know the microlimits; they won't fold.

I was tempted to raise, but my lower kicker swayed my decision to folding. I hope it's cuz I want a better two pair than his?

Exactly, An ace would be able to make a hand that he could not beat without hitting trips or better

Yeah. If he catches you're two pair, you're doomed. At least with an ace kicker, you'll have his two pair dominated if he catches.

Even if you caught Jacks and sevens, all he had to do was catch one of his other five cards by the river. Not good chances to have your Js and 7s hold.

Be sure to re-raise with an ace kicker though; $.01 is a pretty high ante.
