How Much Do Affiliates Make?
I'm amazed at how many rakeback affiliates there are, and how many employees they hire, and advertisements they buy (ads on this site were pretty expensive the last time I checked).
I've found that a lot of the people respected as great players use their fanbase to run their affiliate program. The thought crosses my mind that if some of these guys are making $300k / year or whatever, then why are they bothering to be a rakeback affiliate? There are also a few professional type sites, and loads and loads of scammers. My guess is that the professional type sites might make $10k / month (NET) while it might be more like $3k / month for the typical awesome player with fanboys. |

Yes there is some work invovled but if you have some high rollers bringing in tons of rake your cut is well worth the time. |

Re: How Much Do Affiliates Make?
Poker affiliate revenue is estimated at 250 million for 2005.
The vast majority of affiliates are non-rakeback. |
