Re: Greg Raymer in Poker Superstars III?
I think some cash is added into the prize pool. Not 100% vsure about that.

Thanks for posting Daniel's comments. He has a mature perspective here IMO.

but that's all a bi-product of the things I've done in the past. [/ QUOTE ] I wonder if the "Negreanu is gay" contingent will pick up on this. |

Re: Greg Raymer in Poker Superstars III?
i also agree that ps would be so much better if it weren't for the ridiculously fast structure.
if they make it where the blind levels are a lot slower i would start watching it more often. |

Re: Greg Raymer in Poker Superstars III?
I think they have to make the structures that fast because they have to get several rounds done in a very short period of time. I think there were close to 40 seperate tournaments (24 - Round 1, 8 - Round of 16, 4? - Quarterfinals, 4-6 - Semis, 2-3 - Finals)

Re: Greg Raymer in Poker Superstars III?
I don't know why I would think this just from watching it on TV...but it sure looked like the Nugget did a respectable job in the NBC HUC.
but I might just be mixing my impression of the televised product (which I thought was quite good). The nugget could have been lousy hosts for all I know. But somehow I kind of doubt it. I hope the PSI III has hopefully found a place where it can really thrive. |

And, with the PSI III guaranteeing at least 5 TV appearances, it's tough to pick an event where you have a good shot at getting none. [/ QUOTE ] Greg, is this now important to you for endorsement reasons? I didn't understand the TV appearance preference otherwise. |
