Don't know if you read his blog or not, but my wife thinks I idolize Paul Phillips b/c I talk about some of his posts. That man is one sharp and witty mo' fo'.

Hard to define him as a pro b/c he plays so infrequently and definitely doesn't derive the majority of his income from the game

Sidenote: He sat down at a 3/6 game at the Mirage while I was there. Seems like a pretty likeable guy if you're not an idiot around him.

Great blog......and I'd call him a pro.

Default sorry i couldn\'t make it

Mo did call me today to invite me, however i never actually spoke with him to confirm that i would make it.

it turned out that i couldn't make it to play, and by the comments made in this thread it seems as though i missed out.

i don't really like playing in restricted buy-in games, but it sounds as though there is quite some money on the table.

i'm going to try and make it next week.

just for your guy's info i've been playing primarily the
20-40NL and the 50-100NL (when they spread it) at commerce, and doing quite well.

You would clean up in this game with ease. Now Jesus is in the game, good god its like a malfunctioning ATM machine spewing cash everywhere.

Jonas,

Miss playing with you, Dude. If you get a chance, would love to have you in the Friday night game. However, it may cut my probability of winning...unless Henry's bitch Gor shows up!
