Default 5/10 Learning How to Fold

Here are a few hands that made me think for a bit on what to do. These situations come up often, and I seem to be misplaying them every now and then. So, what do you guys reckon? My silly actions and results to follow soon.


HAND 1: CHECK RAISED ON THE TURN
Villian is in the SB and is 29/6/1 after 31, not much of a read.

Pacific Poker $5/$10 Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is in the BB with J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, 2 folds, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Sb checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, SB calls.

Turn: (2.5 BB) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero?....


HAND 2: DONKED BET ON THE TURN
UTG is 33/11/2 after 18. I won a hand of him a few ago. I was betting on the come for the nut flush, and caught him out with the 2nd nut flush.

Preflop: Hero is in CO with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, MP calls, Hero raises, Button calls, SB folds, BB/UTG/MP calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, MP calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, UTG/MP calls

Turn: (8 BB) T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG bets, MP calls, Hero....?


HAND 3: RAISED ON THE TURN
The button is Unknown.

Preflop: Hero is in MP with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero raises, 1 fold, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: (7 SB) A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB folds.

HAND 4: RAISED ON THE FLOP
Button is 56/12/1.47 after 60.

here are my standards:

1: fold
2: raise
3: calldwon
4: call turn, bet/fold river.

1. I check the turn, its a very easy fold.

2. call

3. fold although calling isnt too bad

4. calls folds to river spade.

Why do you check the turn? If you do, do you then call a bet on the river? May be missing out on an extra bet on the turn.

You would fold to a single spade with an 8:1 shot? I'm thinking there would be plenty of other hands that we beat in this situation when a spade hits.
