Default Basketball--improving ball handling

My right hand is average-below average(my dominant hand) but my left is very very crappy. I would like to improve both of them but especially my left. I can't break people down on offense and I don't feel that comfortable bringing it up the court as a point guard. I'm 5' 8 so I am pretty useless without these skills. I would like to become unuseless, help me oot. I'll be playing probably everyday and will have a lot of time to do stuff.

Dribble hour after hour, day after day, week after week, month after month.

first, make sure you dribble with each hand for at least a half hour everyday. NO EXCEPTIONS

then, work on some moves. It's like martial arts. Practice the basic movements over and over. Then, expand your horizons.

Have a basketball with you 24/7. Dribble it a lot with both hands.

Do not look at the ball while dribbling. Even if you have to chase it down a hundred times.

And remember,

Confucious say:
Girls should not marry basketball players because they always dribble before they shoot.

As everyone said, just practice. Start small and in a few months you should have an above average left hand. Practice layups left handed too, it will help your inside game a ton.

I play a lot of ball, and had the same shortcomings initially. Other than playing a lot, I would suggest you get these - a lot of NBA guys use them.
