Go to CC web sites and apply. My guess is someone will give you a low limit.

Have Daddy cosign.

Borrow money, pay it back.

Its already been suggested that you get a credit card.. most offer them to college students, check around campus for flyers. Use it and pay it off each month, every six months ask for a credit line increase.

You can also deposit $500-$1000 in a bank CD. Ask the bank to give you a personal loan secured by the CD. Make your regular monthly payments higher than the minimum.

Ahh I kinda like that CD idea, I thought most CD's require something like a 5k minimum

Say I do get a credit card, and buy $200 worth of stuff the first week. Does the intrest only start if you dont pay it off after 1 month? Also can you hook up a credit card to your bank, so if you use your credit card for $200 then you can just transfer $200 from your bank to your credit card company online.

Most credit cards have a grace period, where if you pay off the full balance by the due date, you will not be charged any interest.

Most credit cards can be payed online by transfering $$ from your bank account.
