Default How to make party games fit into their box

Ok...I know nothing about computers, so I am going to try to explain what is happening to my new laptop to the best of my ability...First off, it is a widescreen laptop, which might screw things up. When I open the party client, there is about a 1" margin of empty space in the right and bottom sides of the party window. The same thing happens when I open up the actual games. Is there some way I can change the settings on my computer so the games apprae the correct size? As it is, the screens overlap and I dont know how well it will be for multitabling. Ask questions if you dont get what I am saying. Sorry for being dumb.

From here:

10) Party tables don't fit inside their windows! (Occurs mostly in laptops.)

On high resolution laptops, the default DPI is sometimes set at 120 DPI instead of 96 DPI to make text and icons appear larger. This causes problems with Party tables and skins so change it back to 96 DPI by right-clicking on your Desktop, click on Properties, Settings tab, Advanced button, change DPI setting to 96, click on OK. Windows will ask you to restart your computer.
