Default Another reason to cold call a raise with 72o

You've just started a Stars $11 rebuy. You rebought immediately, but on the first orbit you lost an all-in against someone who didn't rebuy and are now at 1560. You're dealt 72o in MP. UTG raises to 60. I believe the correct play is to call.

Well, pot/implied odds are part of it, but not the most important part.

I was joking. Whenever a fish is deciding whether or not to call a raised pot preflop, I always type in "pot odds baby", and they usually call.

Contrary to appearances, there is a real reason.

Only those familiar with a rebuy would know the answer and it has nothing to do with pot odds.

KEYWORD is REBUY
