Default Multi-tabling helps me be more patient...

Sometimes I have a tendency to play some hands pre-flop that I know I shouldn't. Part of it comes from the slow pace of play when the good cards only come so often.

I recently started multi-tabling (3 tables) and this has helped tremendously with my patience level. I'm less inclined to make bad preflop calls and limps because I know that I won't have to wait so long before another playable hand comes along.

Just curious if others have the same issue.

I noticed this effect when i started multitabling. For me its one of the advantages that online play has over live.

It's definitely one of the advantages of multitabling.

Here are two more:

1. Not having the time to dwell on bad beats.

2. Not having the time to get involved in silly chatting.

One other advantage - if you win - is that you get a higher % of the total $. I.e., in 3T 30+3, only 5/30 get paid vs 3/10 single table

By multi tabling he means playing more than one table at the same time, not an SNG that has more tables.
