Unorthodox play?

I think 99% of the time I muck this preflop from the position I'm in, but the table was very loose/passive so I took a shot.

The only significant read is on UTG, who plays any two cards.

How do you guys like this? Should I have been more aggressive on the turn and river, or should I have been worrying about kicker problems?

Could have AK or a pair. Once he 3-bets the turn I slow down like you did.

Maybe kicker problems, maybe against a made boat on the flop. I'd be worried about both when he makes it 3 on the turn. If neither of them has a king or a pair of 8's, then they are more insane than most. Capping every street is definitely taking a gamble, but with two along for the ride, you'd be getting a huge overlay if you had even a 50/50 chance of winning. Worst case is MP2 has a king and UTG has 8s. I don't know ... I think calldown is good.

Nothing unorthodox here, nice hand.
I think UTG had 88 KJ/KQ.
I would not worry about MP2.
