Do they spread PLO8 live anywhere?

I'm going to Vegas next month, just wondering if PLO8 is spread anywhere out there or anywhere else live for that matter. Thanks for any advice.

Only time I've seen it is as part of a high-stakes "mixed games" table. Good luck. (In some cases the big game might be $5 blind, like at an Indian casino. But I suspect NLHE has hurt these games, which were sporadic.)

There used to be a live hi-lo pot limit Omaha game at Casino Del Sol in Tucson, Az, but I don't know if it's still going any more. It was a jamming game a couple of years ago when I was there.

I played 5/10 PLO8 at the Orleans in April. Interest list went up, game filled with off duty dealers, me and one local.

Terrific game.

Out of curiosity, about how many hands per hour were you able to play at that game? I find it hard to imagine a form of poker slower than live PLO/8.

I was just about to post this, because, i'm going to Vegas next month for a few days, and I want to play PLO8, laregely because my record there far exceeds any other game i've ever played (NLHE, LHE, stud)

I think the problem you'll find with PLO8 is that there probably wont be a large selction of blind sizes. IMO, you'll probably only find two games, a 5-10 game and like a 25-50 huuuuuge game.

I get nervous when I play PL hold'em like, 25-50, but, with O8B, i'm confortable playing that high...strange, but true.

i'd love to play PLO8 live, so let me know if you guys find a game...

We played mostly 5-handed. The game went pretty quick since everyone was familiar with playing Pot Limit. So surprisingly there wasn't too much delay of game that I can remember. Don't recall how many actual hands we played per hr. As an extra treat, my friend Lee Jones sat in the game and ran it over for a while [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
