xbox 360 second release in the US???????

I was just talking to some kid working at best buy about the 360. I asked when he was going to get some more in and he said that he couldn't tell me when but if I checked the internet I'd be able to find out.

As that I get most of my important news from this forum and am a dullard with respect to internet searches, I thought I'd see if anybody knew when the next shipment was supposed to happen.

According to my local Gamestop, they're getting their next shipment (WHICH SURE AS HELL BETTER HAVE MY 360 IN IT) by Dec. 18 at the latest.

cmon just cough up the $700 to get one on ebay. i justified it like this: some poor bastard waited in line for 17 hours in the cold to get this thing. my hourly rate is like $50, so the time i would have spent waiting in like is worth $850. so at only a $300 premium on ebay(700-400), this thing is a bargain.

if you can wait, be prepared to wait until after the holidays for shelves to be fully restocked unless you have your friend at BB give you a call when the next shipment comes in.

yeah GoT said Perfect Dark was lame (and he loved Goldeneye)...so for right now, the system is a bust for me. He did say Kameo is badass...which I do want to play. Give it 6 months it will have some good stuff out for it.

My gamestop said his orders were sold out till Feb. I think the marketing team of the xbox360 wanted all this hype. The good games will come, they just aren't here yet. The system was rushed to make Xmas sales.

When we truly see the new PS3 and Nintendo Revolution in fall2006, I predict xbox360 sales to plummet.

Oblivion is going to be the most badass game of all time.

And if Halo 3 is indeed done around the launch window of PS3, I wouldn't count on 360 sales plummeting.

Rushing it has nothing to do with it. Doing a global launch was their problem.
