Re: New Dells?????
The Dell widescreens I know about are too short vertically. Unless they like just last week came out with a new model or something, but I think I would have heard about it if they did.
The thing is of course that you need the 1200 part of a 1600x1200 resolution if you want no overlap. And the Dell widescreens don't have it. |

Re: New Dells?????
Last I heard they can't even do 4. Zoo is a better place for this q.

Re: New Dells?????
To do 6 with no overlap, it would need to do 2400 x 1350 (assuming 16:9), which I don't think Dell is doing yet.

Re: New Dells?????
Well they lists its max resolution at 1920x1200, so it should handle the vertical portion of the equation just fine. The problem is with the 1920 you won't be able to fit three tables across without any overlap. You'd probably end up with in total half a table of overlap per set of three. Now I don't think this would be much of a problem as you should easily be able to choose seats such that your cards are always visible and the location where the action buttons are are always visible.

Re: New Dells?????
Hardly looks like a deal to me, unless you can get it for half price.
I got two 2001fp's for $400 each. eastbay |

Re: New Dells?????
Regardless, even if it could fit 6 tables, for the same price, actually less, why not get two monitors that can manage 8 tables?

Re: New Dells?????
1920 won't do six.
I'd use this thing for watching DVD's in bed. |
