Default Does Ray Zee play cards anymore?

I've been curious about this for a long time. I know he's a Montana hermit now (hehe) but does he play any poker? If so, what games, and what limits?

no, ray lost his entire roll to the suburban poker man around new years. spm promised ray he would quit posting if ray would come to chicago and play him no limit heads up. ray jumped at the chance and flew right in but soon wished he hadn't, for spm put beat after beat on him and soon had poor ray talking to himself. truly gracious as a winner spm offered to quit posting anyways. ray is still his old sassy self even without his roll as he has some income producing properties to tide him over.

actually ray zee kinda quit because of the smoke in poker rooms. but now more rooms are smoke free so i dont have a good excuse anymore. i do go to california every year and play no limit in the 1,000 buyin game. thats my favorite type of poker. its also possible that i find private games.
at some point i will start coming to vegas a little and playing more in cal. i have played in europe and australia.
after over 30 years of high stakes games its time to pass the batton to those younger with more energy and drive.

I never could figure out if Ray came to town when the games were good, or if the games were good because Ray came to town.

Either way, we miss you. kiss kiss
