Do you often run into players that suck to bluff raise the river after raising the turn and getting reraised?

but among players already characterized as bad, I think the ratio goes up. maybe somethign like 2% of all players would makes this play but 10% of all sucky players would. or whatev the numbers are.

I can't say that I like the check. I find it hard to believe you'll count on your opponent to bluff the river enough to making a check call profitable.

It just seems weird to me to reraise the turn and check the river. Blech.

The reraise/check is a huge part of why I think he will bluff. I look like an idiot when I check the river.

I like the check. If he is a true idiot, he had some kind of draw that missed and will almost certainly bet knowing he cant win by checking and pray that you were on a draw too. The only hand that you really worry about missing a bet against is KJ. He could have qj, a seven or he could have made queens with his heart draw. I like the check.

Good 30/60 game. Pretty much everyone is an idiot.
I raise AsJs utg, utg +1 cold calls because he sucks.
Flop Jh 7d 5h. I bet he calls. Turn 7c. I bet, he raises, I reraise, he calls. River Qc.

Check or bet?

[/ QUOTE ]

i kinda like it but kinda hate it...

given the turn action.. and the fact there was a lot of it signalling you have a good hand, he may check behind too many hands hed call with if you bet.

can you fold to a raise?

if so then definately bet. if not, i really like the check for the additional fact you're going to showdown
