Default What Pro Player are you most smilar to, and why?

For me-

Matusow, because I get pretty emotional about the game, and am cocky as hell at the table. Plus I cry when I lose.

I've thought about this at times, and my answer changes as my game does. When I'm playing my A-game, I'm fairly similar to Layne Flack.

Charles Barkley - I'm also an overweight power forward with a descent jump shot and I hit the boards well.

Oh... you mean poker pro.

this is tough for me, because i primarily play NLTHE ring games, and that's my forte. obviously i dont know much about the pros and their cash games. as far as tournaments go, id *like* to be most like harrington or lederer
but as far as cash games go, id guess that my nl style is most akin to doyle brunson, being that super system was the first poker text that i read and i rely on a lot of those principles still to this day when playing nl ring games

I'm a bizarre hybrid of Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen, Barry Greenstein and Ellix Powers.

John Juanda, I am willing to shift gears drastically when the opportunity arises but can usually maintain a solid table image and stay under the radar. This is my impression of him based on the few times I've seen him play, of course I may be completely off.

Jack Straus...my game is nothing like his, or maybe it's mirror image, I don't know cause I've never watched him, but he's my role model...if I have to pick a live player I'll go with Ivey...unlike the rest of you guys my game doesn't really resemble one of the top players in the world, probaly because I'm not that good...(Insert snide little Graemlin)
