Re: Question....red chip game/yellow chip game ???
red = $5 chip in vegas/other places, kinda as a standard. Red chip games are 10/20, 15/30, 20/40.
yellow = $5 chip in LA brown = $10 chip in LA. AFAIK there's no standard for $10 chips out side of LA. $10 chip games are 30/60 & 40/80. |

Re: Question....red chip game/yellow chip game ???
red is a five dollar chip where i have played in AZ ...up to 20/40, 25/50
yellow is three dollar for 9/18 games, and also for RAKE brown is ten...for 30/60 and above to where green 25 chips are used. we also have peach 2 dollar chips at one casino and another has white two dollar chips, but they had PINK one dollar chips...i think that has changed, but i haven't been there in a while...the two dollar chips are great for 6/12 |

Re: Question....red chip game/yellow chip game ???
At Foxwoods, their $2 chips used for 2-4 and 4-8 are yellow. I don't believe this is the same anywhere else. Bellagio's $10 chips are this green orange combo. MK could probably describe them better but I don't think he comes here often.

Okay I feel bad
I know Red chip is $5, but our yellow chips here are only 50 cents, and we have no brown, or pink for that matter LOL |

Re: Question....red chip game/yellow chip game ???
So basically from what i understand, the next time i hear someone talk about the "yellow chip game" i still have no clue what limit that is.
And if they say the "red chip game," this could mean a bunch of different limits. Im just as confused as before. |

Re: Question....red chip game/yellow chip game ???
Heh, confusion is always fun. Where I'm from (Minnesota) at Canterbury Park there are blues for $1, yellows for $2, reds for $5, and greens are $25 (the last two being standard of course)...theres also orange 50 cent pieces.

Re: Question....red chip game/yellow chip game ???
Not only that the $10 chips are this funky off-yellow half clay pieces of crap that look nothing like the other chips which are plastic, and there's no chip bigger than black.
