Implants

... of the dental variety. Has anyone had one done? I went to the periodontist today and it turns out I need a bone graft and implant. Not looking forward to this at all because it will cost $3500 + the cost of the crown, i wont have the tooth for 10 months and it seems really painful. Has anyone had this done? Does it hurt like a mofo?

My roommate had this done. It was long process and it's had it's painful times, but that's what drugs are for right?

I'm sure you'll be happy when it's all over. Find a good doctor thru a recomendation. I can't stress this enough.

The last time this thread came up it was a bunch of before/after pics. It was kinda disturbing and not that sexy. Oddly that's what I was hoping to find when I clicked this thread.
