ok, i messed up here somewhat, that's ok though. overcards are just very hard to play. i went based on the table and the board. so be it.

With over 400 posts, you can't be a troll or a noob, so I'm baffled at how you can keep ignoring advice and insist that at worst you messed up "somewhat." I don't think you played any street right at all. Overcards are tough to play, but you didn't have overcards--there was an Ace on the board. I think you just wanted to post this hand to show your brilliance, when it actually shows you have no clue what you're doing. Remember, even if he's bluffing, he could still beat you. You have nothing!

Wait, scratch all that. Please tell me your handle and what sites you play at so I can "observe" your play and learn from you.

and if i get called i can figure out where the Ace is.

So you want to put in two bets on this flop to find out which player is holding the hand that has you drawing to runner-runner trips/two pair/straight?

Given the way you played it preflop, fold the flop. Or raise if you think the bettor is FOS a lot and you can improve your chances of winning UI against the field.

But to chime in with what other posters said, if you make a play where the justification is "well it was based on this really great read/type of table" and you don't state that initially, it is just ex-post facto justification and furthermore makes advice/criticism/learning impossible, which is the whole point of posting hands here.

Stats mainly reflect your preflop play, which means nothing w/out good postflop play.
