Default Was the 5DC the strongest WPT final 6 ever?

Only one very big name, but all strong pros. Two well-known TV players, two well-known Internet players, and that doesn't include the guy who won it. It seems similar to a WSOP final table of 10 years ago.

It's the best one in a while, but several Season 1 lineups beat it easily. Check the Five Diamond, World Poker Finals, or WPT Championship from Season 1

Off the top of my head from WPT last season alone a few tables to to mind. I believe there was one with Scotty Nguyen, John Juanda, Eli Elezra, Lee Watkinson, Jim Meehan, and some other guy that made it to a WPT final table before.

Then there was that insane one with Danny Negreanu, PHIL IVEY, Josh Arieh, David Williamson, and two unknowns.

WPT final event had Tuan Le, Hasan Habib, Paul Maxfield, John Pham forgot who else.

WPT seems to have lots of big names in their final table, even though its only 6 to boot.

Neither of Tuan's tables are in the race for this.
