Default ($60) Irieguy implied this push should be automatic...

... in his reply to my post in the thread about Custer's T2 hand. So is it that automatic?

Reads: Button is extremely tight. SB and BB both seem aggro first in but not facing a raise (i.e. decent). SB in particular was very tight early and then loosened up a ton level 4.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (5 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter

SB (t2470)
BB (t2375)
UTG (t3470)
Hero (t2505)
Button (t2680)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Yah I push here the majority of the time. You are playing for first and tryiing to accumulate chips at this point. You need chips badly and going thru the blinds again without getting a pot is gonna hurt you.

With your reads, I agree, unless you have LAG image. Then maybe 50/50 random.

Hmmm, this push depends on the opponents for me. It is no way automatic.

Decent players, will push. Any maniacs left to act and I muck forsure.

After I pushed this, I ran it through SnGPT. Even against a maniac call range from both blinds this is still marginally +EV.
