that is one sucky fold dude.

You don't think tiny bet + reraise = something close to the nuts?

That's a monster every time in my experience.

He doesn't seem to care that the board flushed.

[/ QUOTE ]
i understand, but dont u think he might have, what u call it?... a FLUSH!!
you are getting huge pot odds, call.
so so ez for him to have a smaller flush.

I have been here seven days longer than you, so don't lecture me. Seriously though, if no one says anything, how else is he gonna know? I wasn't berating him, I was just telling him that it was in the wrong forum.

What hands make full houses on this board? What hands make flushes?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hands from the small blind make full houses here.

[ QUOTE ]

He could easily be straight up bluffing with the scare card.

[/ QUOTE ]

Leading out for $40 is a terrible bluff.

[ QUOTE ]
Pretty simple at least call here. You think he just calls your raise with KsQs?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes? It was a fairly substantial raise.

I guess, looking back, getting 4:1 pot odds it's a marginal call, but I would put my chances of being good right around that 20% mark.

I thought this was pretty routine.

[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
I ($570) min-raise to $30

[/ QUOTE ]

Nope. I raise pot or call depending on opponent. Mini-raise does absolutely nothing but open another raise to SB.

[ QUOTE ]
SB donkbets $25.

I call pretty quickly.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would raise this. The board is paired and I want to find out where I'm at. It seriously looks like SB is trying to name the price for a draw. Don't let that happen. If he goes over the top, it's an easy muck and you don't have to deal with the river mess.

[ QUOTE ]
SB bets $40

I make it $140

SB makes it $300

[/ QUOTE ]

Again, not routine. It's not like SB is making it $450 or all-in, which is a close decision. He's basically mini-raising, and it could easily be a smaller flush. Clear odds to call.
